Executive committee
In its seven-year existence, the Executive Committee (EC) has played a key role in work and continued existence of Culture and Art Society “Djerdan”. Among many roles, members of the EC are there to provide adequate advice to other members of the Society, and with that alone bring credibility to the organization.
In recent reorganization of the EC team there were changes at the very top of the organization, while certain members remained in their current positions. Changes occurred after a voluntary resignation of certain members of the EC team from their positions, which became vacated and needed to be re-established. During these changes, C.A.S. elected a new president, a treasurer, a member, ex officio choreographer, and created a new position of vice-president, while the general secretary and the coordinator remained in their function. During the General Assembly, according to the Statute, Djerdan elects its EC representatives every two years, for the same length of their mandates.
Since newly appointed to their positions, the EC team has shown superb interpersonal relationships and demonstrated to be capable to lead such an amateur organisation in all its capacity. In cooperation with other members, the EC makes decisions that benefit the organization, maintains material and financial situation in good standing necessary for continuous work, protects professional interests of the organization and attaches importance to establishing new friendships, sense of belonging to a community and optimistic outlook on life.
